Ancora una volta gli ultimi stupri di donne hanno riportato in primo piano, paradossalmente, invece del principio dell'inviolabilità del corpo e della mente delle donne, la questione della nazionalità dello stupratore. Di nuovo si pensa che la violenza sulle donne arrivi quasi esclusivamente con lo straniero, specialmente con il romeno, certamente meno «perbene» di quanto non sia lo stupratore italiano.
Ma urge una riflessione più ampia, prima di finire nelle solite semplificazioni che finora non hanno portato altro che dibattiti e provvedimenti emergenziali, raramente soluzioni concrete che possano invertire la tendenza a considerare la donna, quando non oggetto, comunque soggetto di diritti inferiori.
Perché il periodico «allarme stupri» è soltanto una parte di un più esteso «allarme sicurezza» a cui assistiamo da qualche anno nel Belpaese. Un «allarme sicurezza» che poi sembra giustificare spedizioni punitive e giustizia «fai da te» ma anche l'approvazione di misure restrittive della libertà delle persone in nome della libertà delle persone.
Ricevo in questi giorni molti messaggi di preoccupazione da parte di connazionali romeni. Hanno paura di... quelli che hanno paura e che «per paura», incendiano corpi, negozi, sentimenti e tutto quello che abbia a che fare con l'immigrazione. In questi giorni mi giungono anche molti messaggi di solidarietà. Arrivano da parte di alcuni connazionali italiani. Sono preoccupati per il futuro e per il crescendo dell'intensità di un vento razzista. E hanno loro stessi paura di quella gente che, ben ammaestrata da slogan politici e ben intontita dalla televisione, ha nuovamente paura dei romeni, dello straniero, dello sconosciuto. E forse anche del futuro.
L'efferatezza di certi delitti e di certe violenze non si discute. Ma dovremmo indignarci a prescindere dalla nazionalità dell'autore del reato. Anche quando lo stupratore arriva da cosiddette «famiglie perbene» italo-italiane. Even when a woman is molested in homes, workplaces, in the language and concession fees rose.
