THE EXPERIENCE OF THE DOORS FOR IMMIGRATION

La legge n. 189/2002 di riforma della disciplina dell’immigrazione, nota come “Legge Bossi-Fini”, prevedeva l’emanazione “entro sei mesi” di un apposito regolamento di attuazione e revisione delle disposizioni contenute nel vecchio regolamento sull’immigrazione, D.P.R. n. 394/1994, con il quale di definissero in particolare the mode of operation of the new Single Desk for Immigration. 1.The

Faced with problems relating to the issuance and renewal of residence permits and the shortage of specialists in language, on March 16, 2007, the Ministry has decided to strengthen the OSS, and keeping the people working on temporary contracts and recruiting other human resources with a full wind GARDS from a total of 1,250 workers and should ensure that an acceleration tion in the examination of practices, both on the hot flow of input on that, not much less important, of family reunions.

In sostanza,il lavoro degli sportelli comunali, che avevano lavorato always positive, and free of charge to the practices of migrants and which the end of 2006 had been cut off from the experimentation of the permits mailed, was re-launched in the direction but also by reference to limited tasks and administrative problems.
The real problem is the fact that, even if the entry in the field of public kiosks, is a great opportunity to streamline the practices, everything is likely to be thwarted by bad Functioning of the Post Office in respect of which there have been many protests, particularly the CGIL in Milan.
